IYOGI REFUND IS A SCAM
DO NOT expect a refund from IYOGI. They will scam you further.
They claim to be refunding but when you follow their instructions they gain access to your bank accounts. They initiate an "overdraft" against your credit card that goes to your checking. Then they send you the wrong amount and want you to send money back to them. You do not realize that they have somehow gotten into your accounts until you see your credit card statement.
They are not sending you any money. It is all yours. Just sleight of hand. So do NOT allow them any access to anything if they call.
Just tell them you know it is a scam. Tell them never call you again.
And beware, they are very good at making it all sound credible.
Who doesn't want their money back after buying something that was a scam to begin with. Don't fall for it.

Refund Scam Alert
I just dealt with a very uncomfortable situation with someone from iyogi saying I was due for a refund of $399.99. The caller was obviously from India.
First I was given a website to go to to fill out an online from to initiate my refund. The form asked for name, mailing address, phone number, email address and bank name. Then submit. Then a screen popped up with options for Refun 1-4.
I was directed to select option 1. Then the person remote into my screen and asked me to log into my online banking account. I said I felt uncomfortable with this, but was assured that I would be the only one to see it. The reason was so that I could see when the refund posted on my account.
Note, the person had not requested a routing number or anything, so I thought "how could they post a refund without this?" I noted that once I expressed my discomfort the remote pop up said something to "remote connection terminated". I logged onto my online bank account and then the remote screen popped up again and the mouse began to move not by me. The person began to give me a series of letters and numbers, stating it was my refund number. It was 25 characters long.
The person asked me to repeat the number, and told me that my PC screen would go black, but not to be allarmed because this meant the refund was processing. When my screen when black, I immediately powered off my computer completely. The person was still on the phone and asked me what I saw on the screen. I said it was black and he said to be patient, the refund was processing.
Then his other phone (sounded like a cell phone) rang and he spoke to the other person in his foreign language. He asked again, "mam, what do you see on your screen?" I said "it's still black" even though I had repowered it up and was beginning to uninstall apps and icons that he apparently loaded onto my screen. He spoke back to the other caller, than said "mam, it appears that your computer may have been disconnected." I feigned surprise and said it had. He asked me to power it on again.
I acted like it was taking a bit to do so as I Uninstalled what he had installed and began a security check on my PC. Then I feigned that the power came back on. He asked "mam, so you see the [app] icon?" I said no, and that I had Uninstalled it. He exclaimed "why mam did you do that?" I said I felt uncomfortable with the whole thing and said "you have my mailing address, please mail me my refund." He tried to convince me that he just needed three more minutes for my refund to process.
I said "Please mail me my refund or you can keep it, but this call is over." I then hung up. Then I received several calls back, and blocked the number. While I have a feeling the number is not real, as it is a New York number and he clearly was Not calling from NY, here it is 518-543-****.
I then called the fraud department of my bank and advised to change my password to my email and submit a fraud claim with the Credit Bureau at 180*-680-****. My bank also temporarily suspended my online profile, and I had to create a new username and password, as well as a verbal password, with security questions for phone inquiries about my account.
IN A Nutshell...
DO NOT USE iYogi. It is beyond sketchy and when your gut wrenches that this is just not right...definitely listen to it.

I have been shooketh
It is now 31st March 2019 and I am still waiting on my full refund on what I first believed to have been one of the best hard drives on the market which I paid Β£750 for. Yet when it arrived at my doorstep all the way back in September, once I opened it at first I was very pleased to see the exact model of which i had paid for, then after 2 more minutes of looking at it I noticed this horrible looking white and yellowish creamy sort of texture oozing out of the ports and the vents, to which I then noticed that it smelled absolutely horrific.
I then realised that consisted within this hard drive that i had paid iYogi Β£750 for was a considerable amount of horrific out of date yoghurt. yes yoghurt. Those 53 people that have already had a look at my review from september 2018, I am guessing that you first thought that I am just trying to be a troll and give iyogi a bad name simply because others have done so already. But no, I can confirm that this is legit and iYogi trully are *** scammers.
SO PLEASE AVOID PURCHASING ANYTHING WHATSOEVER FROM IYOGI, THEIR PRODUCTS ARE MOST CERTAINLY NOT LEGITIMATE. seriously the yoghurt within that hard drive i received smelled like nothing i had smelled before, it was incredibly grim. Also, to this day it may not have even been yoghurt, it may have been something completely different. but yes IYOGI I AM STILL WAITING FOR THAT Β£750 REFUND TO THIS DAY, YES I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR 6 MONTHS.
THIS MAY SURPRISE YOU BUT I DO NOT ACCEPT A HARD DRIVE THAT CONSISTS OF MOIST, OUT OF DATE YOGHURT AS A SATISFACTORY, FULL WORKING PRODUCT. IT IS SO DAMN DISRESPECTFUL AND UNACCEPTABLE.
PLEASE REFUND ME NOW. legal action may be incurred if iyogi does not respond.
- Fact that i am still waiting on my fucking refund
- Feedback and refund policy
- Iyogi provided me an unusable product
Preferred solution: Full refund

Just received an email stating they renewed my service and charged me $349.00. I am ignoring it.
It happened to me
These bastards phoned me at least twelve times today using all different phony caller IDs. They just don't quit.
I, too, am a victim (kind of). I caught on to the fact that this was a scam during the phone conversation and shut down my computer.
Guy was yelling at me over the phone "Don't shut down your computer!" Before the computer shut down they placed a page in front of my start up page requiring their password. So, my computer has been hijacked. (I am on a friend's computer right now.) I immediately used my phone to change user names and passwords on all financial accounts. The guy called my number 10 times the next day.
Just to get back at him I answered the last call and told him I was getting a new computer (planned on it in a few months). And, that a new computer was less than the money he wanted.
I too used Iyogi years ago. Was pressured to continue to do business with them.
Ended up replacing my computer. Easiest way to get away from them. This month I received numerous phone calls from them weekly. The message says that my account is being charged for the service.
Call to cancel. Now I am receiving e mails about being charged for service. Call to cancel, or click on the link.
Stay away. do not use their service.
They are truly a scam and they hang up when you say that you will not go to download a form to get a refund they are frauds scammers. They said that they had charged me $ 389 and this was the only way to get a refund.
Yeah, but them accessing your computer and bank account. Get a Job and working a honest living like the rest of us.
They called and I almost fell for it. But didnβt want them to access my bank account. Thanks for the heads up.
I got a call from them and when I was told I needed to access my computer I knew it was a scam. I told the guy I didn't want the refund so he hung up.
I tell them I want a check in the mail and they call me a f---g idiot and hang up.
I also was scammed by iyogi. Cost me 499.00 for 3 computers.
Change credit card numbers now they want to pay me back. SCAM
