I bought their service contract and when I called three weeks later because I could not get online they told me to bring my computer to a shop in my area to get diagnosed and then call them back and tell them what the problem was. Yeah Right!! I pay for a service contract and I have to bring it to another shop and pay them to fix it? I called my credit card company and they charged back my purchase. I got a full refund. 09/20/2016 For 4 years, iYogi groomed me to get almost $1,000 from me. Then, after selling me every product they had (in order for the other products to work properly), they sold be a five (5) year contract for support services along with "Tech Genie" "Support Dock" "Live Docs", and "Optimizer" to the tune of $514.99 plus tax. Iypgi is always asking for more money even when the time is not ready for renew. Always a nasty talking push. Spends hrs and hrs on my computer and then more money. Now 9/16/16, they called and want me to open my computer to shut down service and refund the money. Again. Hanging up on me because I have questions. No written info. Talking about it is in a high court in my government.

On September 14, 2016, A tech from Iyogi called me and told me that my computer has been hacked from Nigeria, and that all my devices such as all the smart phones and lap top in the house were in danger. He offer me a package that he claimed will protect all my devices from being hacked in the future for $399. It smelled like a scam to me and I turned the offer down. Any hopes for a refund are now gone. iYogi is out of business unless they are operating under another name. Because I am more than sixty days from the time I charged to pay for a contract with them, I have no recourse with my credit card company. Come to find out they infected my computer, threatened if I didn't buy another contract I would be sorry when my computer went down and I lost everything. You guessed it, down it went. ... Read more

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. I HAVE BEEN UNSUCCESSFUL OVER THE PAST 8-MONTHS IN GETTING A REPLY FROM THEM FOR A FULL REFUND ON MY MEMBERSHIP PAID THROUGH AUG2019. Stay away from this company. I was *** enough to buy into their software to "safe-guard" my computer. I got a phone call telling me that my computer had been hacked and that "they" found all sorts of illegal things on it. When asked what it would take to fix the problem, I was told that the software was soooo sophisticated that it would cost $ 8,500 to normally fix it but because I was a customer, a mere $3,500 would do the trick. I had told iyogi in no uncertain terms that I would not renew their services once my contract was up because I felt they were high pressuring me into buying stuff all the time. None of my friends have any of the things that I pressured to buy. We paid for one year tech support. They called saying it was time to check how the computer was working. We said computer running slow. After checking our computer remotely, They tried to sell us a new type of protection for over 700 dollars. When we refused he locked our computer.
