I lost no money. I did allow them to access my laptop. They fixed nothing because I found the problem and fixed it myself after turning down their warranty for 350.00, 200.00 and 150.00. Read more

well to put it simply Iyogi phoned me on my mobile number which for starters wasnt handed out to them or had any permissions to be with them. secondly they first phoned me whilst i was at work, claiming i had called them from my landline which i dont even own, for their 'technical support' which for one i didn't request and as i actually work and sell computers. Thinking I was on with Acer tech I allowed him to take over my computer. After learning it was a company called iYogi and not Acer, which he admitted to after several questions, I became suspicious of the high pressure sales and scare tactics, so I refused to buy. I did an on line computer repair session with iyogi. I was supposed to be charged $59.99. They said my credit card did not work on their site, so they had me use Amazon. Using and iphone, SIRI directed me to iyogi instead of adobe help desk. Unfortunately, I didn't realize this until it was too late. Iyogi listened to my problem and stated that they could fix it but they needed access to my computer, which I foolishly granted. A few months ago, my iYogi Support Dock started to malfunction on all three of my computers quite frequently. I had an issue with a HP printer I had ordered from Amazon. I was told this printer was new. It broke down the very next day. I contacted HP and they send me a replacement for it. Thank you HP! Called the customer service for Netgear and went to Iyogi Technical services in India. They were on the line for 2 hours and kept asking for $149.99 for one year bull *** support. Had the same issue. When I was coming up for renewal with iyogi, ( a few years back ) my computer went off the wall. Then I got a call from iyogi asking me to renew their service, for a hefty fee. I smelled a rat, so what I did was to back everything up, as best I could, on an external hard drive and dvds, and then I did a factory reset.
